History and Origin
The Tom Collins is a cocktail with an interesting history that dates back to the 19th century. Legend has it that bartenders told their guests that a certain Tom Collins was sitting in another bar and saying insulting things about them. This led to a wild hunt for the nonexistent slanderer and inspired the name of the cocktail. The Tom Collins is a refreshing long drink that is enjoyed not only in summer.
